1*SPLURGE ON ESSENTIAL ITEMS THAT NEVER GO OUT OF STYLE
examples:
.a fitted tailored shirt
.well-cut pair of pants
.a leather tote bag
.a little black dress
.smartly tailored tweed jacket
.a fitted white tee
.a pair of retro shades
this items wil last you for years,season after season.
2*Even KARL lagerfield agrees cheaper doesn't mean poorer.in his own words,"...great design is no longer a question of price,"
so don't snub on less expensive brands like giordano,bossini and fox just cus it ain't designer.these labels do carry well designed and trendy items that make great wadrobe staples.
3*PRACTICE CONTROL.
Don't rush to buy an item in the first heady rush of infatuation.Scout around at other shops like smaller boutiques that may carry similar items for a lower price and give you better value.if you've discovered a gotta-have peice,hold it on at the counter to reduce impulse buying.
4*When trying on clothes,try as many positions as possible,
ESPECIALLY SITTING DOWN,to ensure that clothes fit comfortably.
trust me,i've bought clothes that cost a bomb but didn really hide that buldge in my tummy when i'm sitting down..yikes!
5)KNOW YOUR WADROBE INSIDE OUT
Do a mental fit whenever you pick something up tom try.if it doesn't go with most of what you have,or it isn't suitable for your lifestyle.dump it.itys a waste of money buying something claiming its the in trend when it really looks darn weird on you.
like leggings and mini skirts when you have legs the size of an elephant.uh-uh...not a nice sight.
and ladies out there who have legs as thick as a turkey,forget grey leggings please.dumbo might wanna mate you.hint"*hint*urgh.......
