[this could finally be the end of your mans/friend's disastrous fashion crimes!]
*i've gathered what you would say,the basic staples or the must-haves in a man's wadrobe plus alil extras which i've considered the need for some recognition.minor small stuff are usually neglected but they actually play a huge part in making a n outfit work.so feast ladies,and the dudes out dere!!!
1)WATCH
*BRIGHT VIBRANT PERSONALITY WATCH
Any colour.yellow,green,orange,purple or even fuschia.find one that suits you most and most importantly screams "you!!!"
i personally love the variety from levi's and adidas.far east plaza also offers a wide range of affordable yet creative and unique peices.
*FORMAL WATCH
You're gonna need this for important events like work meetings,or even going out on a date.no matter what,this watch is versatile.anyway,a man with a good watch,may well be aware of his surroundings.hey,first impressions DO count ok!

*Don't underestimate those canvas school sneakers.they're cool.they're oldschool.and i like guys like that.:)
get a pair in a neutral shade like beige or grey.for starters this is a good investment and you can pair it up with almost anything.as you garner your confidence and your self esteem grows,venture and be adventurous in gettin new pairs of wicked stylish shoes,like those patent shoes from river island and collage.
3)FASHIONABLE TEES
Fashionable does not only mean topman or zara.oh yeah,they have a variety of great clothes but not all will suit you,and if every guy on the street gets their clothes from only topman...it look more like a factory tee instead.plus $40 for a cotton tee that will go outa shape afta a couple of runs in the washin machine ain't tat worth it at all.
FASHIONABLE DOES NOT MEAN EXPENSIVE.
ASHA's RULE:FASHIONABLE MEANS BEING ABLE TO CARRY A PEICE OF CLOTHING WELL AND EXUDE AN AURA OF SELF-ASSURANCE AND CONFIDENCE WITHIN ONESELF.

WHATS IN:T-shirt that speks volumeswith tongue-in-cheek on teen angst slogans,trendy skull motifs or street-cred graffiti.
4)JEANS
Every guy needs a good old pair of jeans.find one that makes you feel comfortbale too.finding one's thats stylish but gives your balls a difficult time to breath is killing yourself.skinny jeans are in,but best forgotten if you have to big a butt.light coloured jeans are a little laidback compared to dark coloured jeans.but it can be made trendy if you know how to.
5)KHAKIS
This is a must have seriously.these are worn on the days you can't be bothered or just plain lazy to dress up.it can go with your tees,polo tees,long-sleeves,jackets...everything!and you'd be able to pull it off like a pro!
6)TRUCKER CAP
Compared to a normal cap,this peice has a more unique cut,very school boyish look.simple yet stylish.great for bad hair days(YES,GUYS GO THROUGH IT TOO!)or when you run out of wax!
7)ACCESORIES
Yes.its new age darl.it ain't 18th century.it is ok to have chains,bangles,wristcuffs,rings...i esp love the collection from river island.Accesories will give you an individual look.make you appear more interesting,and girls will definitely know that you care about your looks.which is something positive:)
8)BAG
This ultimately up to your taste and how big a bag do you want it to be.vintage bags are in.so are traffic-stopping coloured bags.you could really source some good buys from haji lane and certain flea markets.new urban male has a variety of hip and trendy bags for guys too.
9)JERSEYS/WOOL VESTS AND TAILORED CUT SHIRTS
This staples come in handy for dates,formal/family gatherings or when you just want a polished look.not many guys op for this look.but this look rocks me till my toes!just look at the male models from GAP!and living proof, adam broody!
NERDY IS COOL.HANDS DOWN!
10)WAX/GLOSS SPRAY
Some guys swear upon wax.for this category,i'd recommend GATSBY MOVING RUBBER or LOREAL TECHNI-ART.but on the other hand,certain guys like my b.f ditches wax because of how it leaves your hair in an unhealthy state.wearing wax in long periods of time results your hair in being dry,coarse and more prone to frizzy hair and split ends.
in that case,i have the perfect solution for you guys.op for a leave on conditioner from sunsilk/dove.cheap,only cost you about 2 bucks and you can get it from watsons or guardian.it not only holds your hair in place.it protects from harmful uv rays,moisturise it,heals the roote and keep your hair smellin fresh and great.or you could op for a water based gloss spray like those from beauty taboo/asience essence water.
so ladies,i certainly hope that these tips will help in your mission of revamping and thrashin your mens wadrobe!just one tip.never throw their old tees.only they know when it goes out of season:)
