A PAGE IN ASHA’S LIFE

“you should start takin care of your weight…you are buldging in all the undesired places…you are fat!FAT!FAT!FAT!”

those words repeated endlessly in my troubled mind.i pondered over those words for quite a while.enough of all the pretence.i feel like tearin that plastic smile and that f***in laugh from my freakin face.my fat face!and then people start to give it in a soo call better term..”you’re chubby” and “you’re cute”…oh hell yea,and u go snickering in your heart that “oh fat ass!”

is it a voice in my head?have I gone mad?or blind?or people are just hidin the fugly truth that im FAT?cause these bloody people are my friends?or boyfriend?because they love me and they don’t wan to hurt my feelings?so does that mean im fat?

“ANSWER ME!”
I demanded.i stared at my reflection upon me.i thought I was normal.
and then I started to morph into this fat ugly me.and I saw a weak heart.a struggling spirit which was dying and fading away.i was losing me!

tears filled up my eyes,as I harass my own body,grabbing those flesh and meat.
I know I wasn’t mad.i wasn’t havin an eating disorder.just what is it?
is it the mentality that all models are gona be wearin double zero?i don’t even know what the fcuk that means..is it cause I eat the wrong stuff?did I binge on my food?did i?or is it cause even your loved ones think that your getting bigger…your hands are flabby and he keeps touchin your tummy as if you were a big baby!

“TELL ME YOU FREAKIN IDIOT!”
I screamed to that fat person I see.that others see..
I was scared.i was really scared to do it.
I reached for the knife,trembling at the same time.
slowly and carefully,I pulled my flesh from my stomach with my left hand and griped the knife on my right hand.i mastered all my courage…

slowly and painfully,I did it…I cut it all off.jus like the butcher at the market.they cut all the FATS off that sheep.
cause they are sooooooooo unhealthy and they make you FAT!
red crimson blood oozed out.
it felt good.damn bloody good.
I managed a smile on my face.

“now they are all wrong!im sooo preeteeyyy….”
I cried,makin my words all muffled up..
oh boy,it hurt like hell,the sight was making me nauseous but it was the feelin of satisfaction and contentment that push any form of regret away.

I lay there,helpless…where did all my friends goo?where did my boyfriend go?where are they…are they still ashamed of me…can they accept me for who I am?....

The kinda slaughterin myself was all made up ayte.but these are my confessions,am tellin you guys that I actually thought of doin that.exactly as I wrote.but I’ve picked
myself up and learnt to be stronger.i ain’t perfect.you ain’t either.soo before u laugh at me and call me stupid.think about ur loved ones,have u given them the same treatment like I received?i don’t blame anyone in this.my friends or my boyfriend.maybe you didn’t realise that it was hurtin deep inside..well yea.this is it..
am still not doin too well right now..still a lil demoralised.still hurt…but oh well,id get ova it..everybody gets influence at some point of time.worst,some fellas do that to jus make you feel ugly cause they envy your beauty…don be like me.it has its consequences.for me,I learnt the hard way.

1 full scoop of rice

its not wrong to have rice.it is the staple diet for asians.ask any experts, they advise you to take in rice everyday.all you have to do is to limit the amount.Instead, add more vegetables,soup and food that is grilled,baked,steamed or boiled.

2 apples per day

fruits are an important source of protein and fibre.2 apples per day is enough to have sufficient natural fibre and carbo for your body.take a bite around 10 to 12 in the afternoon and another at 3pm.

3 slices of bread

have a quality breakfast that is also healthy.3 slices of bread,without any spreads is strongly advised.drink it with hot cocoa or milk or eat it with oats. The more healthier.

5 minutes of deep breathing

deep breathing stabilises your body.soo why are we always told to take deep breaths?it helps reduce stress and stimulates the blood circulation in your body.to have the ideal shape is to have the ideal lifestlye ladies.

10 minutes of light exercise

do a complete light exercise to slowly warm up your body.start from the head to the feet.remember, just ten minutes.

25 sets of situps

situps help in strenghtening the muscles around ur tummy and it helps reduce the bloatness and the buldge.(and my boyfriend goes,”see I told you…””)get a comfy spot to do it.avoid pushing your shoulders but take your whole body weight and feel the stretch on your tummy.

100m of swimming

swimming is the best sport for slimming down.it burns lotsa fats other than sports such as cycling.arrange your schedule such that you swim twice per week.its enough if you swim 50m to and fro.isn’t that great??

8 glasses of water

it’s a remedy,but it really does work! did you know water actually helps in makin the system in your body work beter?lynne garton,a freelance diet specialist found out that the amount of water that enters a body is not the same for every person.it all depends on their daily physical activities,gender and age of a certain individual.now,that’s why ur suppose to drink 8 glasses of water…

9 steps of stairs

practice this activity.everytime you finish your lunch or dinner,search for the nearest flight of stairs.how?go up and down fast within 10 secs.do 3 sets of it.just nine steps of stairs,not 9 flights ok!

7 pm for dinner

what is the ideal time for dinner?although lotsa peeps out there refuse to each dinner.its a mitos ayte!dinner is GOOD for you,the difference is only the timing.the ideal time is 7pm.this is the time your body is most tired due to the energy used up during the day and sleping time is still a long way to go.atleast eat 2 hours before you sleep to allow it to fully digest.

2 glasses of milk per day

milk is a bestfriend to dieting.its gives you all the protein and calcium.milk only can make you feel full and strengten the struture of your bones.drink one glass in the morning,the other at night. you can finally sleep peacefully.

1 glass of juice

belive me or not,one glass of juice can make you full.therfore,you won’t have to eat that much carbos!

28 days of balanced food diet

28 days of diet,and you will slowly see the results.but it must come with the proper food diet.breakfast with fruits,lunch with soup and 2/3 of veg,fish and potatoes.lastly dinner with high protein such as fish,meat and eggs.

14 glasses of green tea per week

diet expert, Brigid McKevith suggests that we drink green tea everyday.2 glasse per day would be enough.it will throw out all the naughty toxins and it does not contain any calories.it also makes you feel full and prevents you from getting hunger pangfs.doesn’t it help in the process of your diet?

50 sets of skipping

getting the ideal shape ain’t jus about food.it includes exercise that is done with a WHOLE HEART!it has to be consistent and not unplanned and disorganised.the most cheapest way is skipping everyday.do it in the evenings if you are busy in the mornings.its good cause it makes u sweat.sweat is a big sign you are slimming down!yeah!
